Welcome to the Alberta Trail Riding Association web site. ATRA is a non-profit organization actively involved in preserving the natural environment for future generations' enjoyment of equestrian activities such as driving and riding.

ATRA meets at 7pm on the 3rd Thursday of every month, excluding summer and December.  Please come and check us out!

Bruce Zawalsky - Surviving Out of Your Saddlebags

What should you carry in your Saddlebags?
Find out, after our short business meeting, when Bruce Zawalsky will present a “Surviving out of Your Saddle Bags” and deal with both basic survival techniques and the specific survival gear you should always carry with you when you ride out into the Backcountry. Bruce is the Chief Survival Instructor at the Boreal Wilderness Institute.
